I was wondering if anyone could help me regarding hotels in London?
- You are probably looking for a budget hotel, or one that ranges from one - star, two - star to three - stars. London has a very vibrant affordable hotel scene, though note that you need to book early in advance to obtain your reservations. Some hotels in this range I would recommend would include: - * Acacia House Hotel London * Adare Hotel London * Airways Hotel London * Alexandra Hotel London * Amb ador Bayswater Hotel London * Americana Hotel London * An - nur Hotel London
- Hotels average USD 160 - USD 200 USD. I recently stayed at the Hilton in Kensington, it was very nice and resonable. it is always best to book early, last minute prices are always higher, unless you can find a deal on lastminute.com and your dates are flexible, but I would not wait. If you need to book a flight, British Airways is the best way to go. also try cheapoair.com. only prb with them is that you might fly 2 - 4 different airlines, depending on if you have a layover or not. Good Luck!
- The Hilton London Heathrow Airport hotel has direct access the Heathrow Airport and is just 20 minutes by train from central London. I am going there this summer and booked the hotels for only USD 50 a night on roomshotel.org I recommend checking it out!
- Booking in September can be cheaper try here hotel - discount. rm07.com you can find the cheapest hotels with reviews too
- Book as early as possible, high summer is the height of the tourist season. If you stay near Heathrow you will have a long and expensive journey into London itself. Get a copy of The Rough Guide to London, that has lots of good advice and hotel details that you will need. Some advice: do not take or wear expensive jewellery or watches when you go. buy a USD 10 watch and leave any gold chains or diamond studs back home, thieves around London can spot tourists a mile away and will snatch good stuff in broad daylight. Another thing: Try and consult a map in your room before you go out, if you HAVE to check whilst out, either pop into a pub or cafe and do it over a coffee, or turn your back to the street and keep the map low, not spread out. Sorry, do not mean to worry you, just avoid the neon "I am a tourist - rob me" signatures!
